I was going to make this weeks post fun and quirky as usual but I have no will power.

As you can see by the title of this blog post, I was going to make this fun and quirky as usual but I have no willpower to do so right now, Don’t worry next week i’ll  be back at it. First off here’s a picture of me after my mental breakdown last night. It’s not really in here for an actual reason other than I wanted documentation of my crippling mental state. please don’t roast me bro.

In the book ‘ promise me,dad’ by Joe Biden he talks about how as his kids got older he is afraid they will leave him and forget about him, this is also a fear of mine. That people will leave and forget about me, I know that sounds horrible but you’re the one who kept reading sooo.  I am scared that people will no longer need my help and leave. Sometimes I’m able to bring myself back but not too often. He goes on to say that he was surprised at the fact that his kids actually did want to spend time with him often when they were older. And I suppose that happens a lot to me as well. When all hope is lost and I honestly feel like my friends left me, they send me a meme. That probably seems stupid that a meme could give me such closure but it’s honesty everything. It means that when they saw that meme they thought of me. Or maybe it’s not really that deep at all and actually means nothing. (you can tell I’m spiraling even writing this post but it’s gucci) Anyways, I was trying to say that sometimes when I think I’m alone and no one wants anything to do with me, a little thing can go along way.

Are Joe Biden and Shrek the same person? (Not click bate) (emotional)

Now i’ll be the first to admit that this question might be a bit of a stretch. But before we go to far let me just point out that they have never been seen in the same room… JUST SAYING.

Anyways, in the first chapter of the book ” Promise me, dad” by Joe Biden he explain the thanksgiving trips his family goes on each year. That they took a long car ride to Nantucket each thanksgiving and do all of the usual family holiday things, throw a football, eat a huge dinner and take pictures. Once he was vice – president they had to start taking plane rides there each break. The trip was a staple of the family, as the family grew the trip grew more and more important. are you thinking the same thing I am? That’s right, SHREK. Imagine this you save a princess one time, it’s a fun adventure and you even get a girlfriend from it, but all the sudden more and more adventures pile up and you have to go on some of them. on top of that more people want to join you. If you ask me these are the exact same stories… Don’t believe me yet? On the plane rides Joe Biden’s grandchildren start asking a lot of questions and even complain! Now say it with me who does THIS remind me of? DONKEY! that’s right. Now you might be asking how this is even relevant, and you have right to. And I would love to tell you why it matters, because it really does help you see the connections in the text. It shows the wholesomeness and the idea that each trip to Nantucket was an adventure for the Biden family.

If there was one question I have after reading the passages that I have read, I would have to ask if the dynamic if the trip ( or adventures ) changed the more family members where added, obviously I can’t answer this myself but I can infer that they did change. It says in the book that the trip got to 12 people. 12 people is more than I can handle in one day much less a whole trip. But I also can see the dynamic of this family and I think that the more people they got to add to the trip the more the love grew and the more important and special the trip was to each of them.

What is music taste?

I’m not particularly picky about my music taste but I am always passionate about the songs that I listen too. For example if someone simply says they don’t like my music I take it very personally and will most likely think about it the rest of the day, but hey maybe that’s just me. I love music, almost unhealthy love music. I will listen to every genre except country and even some country songs i can bop too.  The music I listen too can completely change my mood. If i listen to sad music I will almost immediately contemplate life and If I listen to rap or comedic rap I wall party all by myself. A lot of my music taste comes from my brother and sister, growing up I only heard what they heard. But I always liked it. Music even calms me down from an anxiety attack a lot of the time. I just LOVE music what can I say?

I don’t know if this will sound stupid but to me, all music inspires. But here are some songs that truly inspire me in my daily life. They aren’t my “top” songs because there is no way I could actually choose just three songs.

Talk to me – Cavetown

This song inspires me because it talks about being able to simply talk to people and to be able to listen to them. I always try to listen to people and work things out with them. But it is also about be able to talk about what you are going through personally and this song helps me remember that it is ok to talk to people, and to breathe once in awhile when I am stressed.

Migraine – Twenty One pilots

I have listened to this song since 2o13, It will never get old to me, it’s a song about over coming obstetrical that are in your way and about be able to face yourself. It’s a song that helps me think through situations and helps me know that I am able to get through things even when I am skeptical about it. It inspires me to know I am stronger than I give myself credit most of the time.

Gotta be a Reason – Alec Benjamin

This song inspires me because it reminds me that it’s ok if I question things in life, and it helps me to strive to find out things myself. It inspires me to want to learn and to want to answer the hard questions in my life by myself, it teaches me that not everything is answered for me but that somethings I must find for myself.
